PC WELT: „Savings Between 20 And 30 Percent Are Possible“

A holistic approach is the sectret of a modern licence management, that is what Boris Vöge, executive of the preo Software AG, is sure about. „A modern licence management includes acitivities that accompany the whole life cycle of a software in a company. That starts with the planning and ends with the sale at the end of the usage.“

With a professional licence management, users do not only get legal security, but also possibilities to save a lot of money. Vöge says that licence management projects make savings between 25 and 30 percent possible, and plus, 30 percent are possible by the addition of software remarketing, because the original purchase price of the software can be refinanced partly.

Also, the buying on the market for pre-owned software is becoming more and more popular – no wonder, because the pre-owned software is  far cheaper and as good and qualitative as „new“ software.
