KOMCOM: „Optimizing IT costs with Pre-Owned Software“

Pre-owned software holds potential savings for companies of all sizes.

By buying pre-owned licences (without any traces of usage), one can save up to 50 percent compared to the traditional way of purchasing. The possibility to sell unused licences to preo can refinance big parts of the original cost price. „Beside of the favorable purchasing, a transparent transfer was very important for us. That has always worked very well“, explains Heinrich Freese, IT-manager of the Chamber of Agriculture Lower Saxony, his experiences with used software and the preo Software AG.
