Computerworld: „Pre-Owned Software Saves up to 50 Percent“

In an interview with computerworld.ch, Boris Vöge, executive of the software remarketing trader preo, explains the advantages of pre-owned software and alludes to some important things to keep in mind when buying pre-owned software.

 „Obviously, the main advantage is the cost saving up to 50 percent“, knows Vöge. But even after the purchase the pre-owned software has not any disatvantages: „The client purchases the usage rights for the software with the same rights and duties as the first licencee.“ Like that, software can be recapitalized after the end of usage. For the trade, Vöge approves a trader that is as transparent as possible: „The user should choose a trader that provides all information that is associated with the licences.“
