CIO Online: „Pre-Owned Software Should Cut IT Costs“
To relieve IT budgets, more and more companies buy pre-owned software, reports CIO Online.
In a survey of 100 IT managers at the end of 2008, the preo Software AG and Vason Bourne found out that about 50 percent of the surveyed want to cut their IT budgets by buying pre-owned software and selling unused licences. 2007, only 18 percent said that – the interest is rising noticeably.
That is why the preo Software AG and the university of applied sciences start a survey about „pre-owned software“ in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. User of all businesses are called to express their positions concerning buying and selling pre-owned software.
