ChannelPartner: „The Dispute Continues“
It seems like transparency is the magic word. The conflict of the legality of the trade with used software deals with one topic again and again: the revealing of the origin of the licences.
preo Software AG refers to its transparent processes which are certified according to ISO and which occur with the involvement of the manufacturers, but other traders cannot score with that. Instead of communication, they focus on confrontation with the software vendors. There is no end of the judicial disputes on the horizon – as there is no end of the trade with pre-owned software. „If there will not be an agreement, that means for the customers that values get lost – and they will not accept that“, says Boris Vöge, executive of preo Software AG.
